Joan in her absolute vocal prime here. The voice is fresh, opulent and every note unfurls so effortlessly. Like with all Handel operas, this aria is insistent on a sweeping velvety middle voice, that Joan delivers with such ease. A true Handel voice.
And the diction is fabulous too :P
